Mike is a fitness educator, entrepreneur, and a guy fully driven for a love of activity in almost any capacity. Prior to discovering weightlifting, Mike primarily focused on athletics (basketball/track & field) as well as bodyweight movements. It wasn't until 2006 when he found a love for strength training/bodybuilding and that was all thanks to the cinematic masterpiece "300" (thanks Zack Snyder!).
Mike aims to bridge the gap between education and understanding for his clients in order to achieve as much success as possible. He doesn't just want you to do the exercises and eat the proper nutrition, but also to understand why and how those things are actually beneficial. His main focus is to get people strong and healthy through whatever modality appeals to them - be that bodybuilding, Olympic weightlifting, boxing, dance if they want, etc. His goal is to help people figure out what style of training works for them because that is the main way that they'll have success. If you enjoy what you're doing you're more likely to do it consistently. And consistency is the path to success.
